Description about Project/Department General description for the Peregrino Phase II Project: The Peregrino Field is a heavy oil field in the South and South West section of the Campos Basin, located approximately 85km off the coast of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The Peregrino Field is presently developed with two wellhead platforms (WHP-A and WHP-B) and a floating production, storage and offloading unit (FPSO). A system of pipelines, risers and cables connects the FPSO and the wellhead platforms. The Peregrino Phase II Field Development Project will add a third wellhead platform WHP-C including drilling facilities, in approximately 120m water depth. The proposed development concept utilizes long horizontal production wells with artificial lift provided by subsurface down-hole electric submersible pumps (ESP). The new Wellhead Platform C will consist of the following main elements: Topside Drilling Package Unit (DPU) Living Quarter & Helideck (LQ) Jacket
Description about Task and Responsibilities In General: Plan, Prepare and Execute all Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities related to the Electrical systems, including development and writing of procedures and relevant Commissioning manuals.
Competence Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within commissioning onshore and/or offshore
  • Good cooperative-, communication-, and teamwork skills in addition to a high ethical standard
  • Preferably have operational experience or experience with operation/plant integrity
  • Knowledge regarding transfer of responsibility to- and from commissioning bachelor/Master Degree or equivalent
  • Familiar with engineering/design processes and deliverables
  • Familiar with (Company) oil & gas facilities design requirements, codes and standards
  • Experience with commissioning, -preparation, -activities and -tools (ProCoSys)
  • Experience with pre-checks, risk identification, dynamic verification/functional testing according to commissioning procedures
  • Experience with safety preparations and work permit systems
  • Experience with troubleshooting, mitigation actions, queries/request to other areas
