What We’re Looking For:

• 12-15 years of experience in a senior/internal audit role.
• CA/CPA/ACCA qualification (additionally, CIA/CISA).
• Proven ability to lead audit teams, develop audit plans, and implement audit strategies in a complex environment.
• Strong understanding of risk management and internal control systems.

The Chief Internal Auditor will establish and lead the internal audit function, supervise audits, assess risks, ensure compliance with global standards, and collaborate with senior management to drive operational improvements.

On behalf of one of our clients, a leading provider of construction consulting services with a comprehensive background of over 20 years in Structural and Civil Engineering as well as transportation planning and motorway design, we have been asked to find an experienced German speaking Structural Engineer (m/f/d) for their growing team in Frankfurt, Germany.

They are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to fill their role of in Frankfurt.

• The successful candidate’s primarily responsibility will be to ensure the safety and strength of the structures that will be build. 
• obtaining planning and/or building regulations approval 
• The candidate should speak German and English fluently and have experience working in the German market.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ensures that the daily operations on the rig are reported accurately, confirming costs, and discuss completed operations with Supervisor.
• Discusses the operations plan with concerned parties, verifies, and approves the rig requirement for equipment, material, and manpower before raising request form.
• Assigns and directs certain tasks to well engineer for further investigation and ensures receiving feedback.
• Calls for meetings, as necessary, to discuss operations problems/ improvements and communicates results to concerned personnel.
• Reviews data sheets received & modifies work plan to acquire cost effective means.
• Reviews and amends drilling, work over and re-entry detailed instructions in consultation with Supervisor.
• Discusses proposals with subordinates and Supervisor and modifies as necessary
• Arranges for the pre-spud meeting on the rig to discuss the Well instructions and highlights important issues.
• Participates in the investigation and reporting of major accidents and high potential incidents and makes necessary recommendations for improvement.
• Ensures strict adherence to Company’s safety standards and procedures
• Carries out frequent Group safety meetings self inspection and self auditing to ensure plant and equipment are properly maintained.
• Implements and maintains HSE programme,
• Conducts risk assessments and prepares special procedures for non-routine operations and activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

15 years experience in drilling operations of which at least 5 years should have been in a supervisory capacity in onshore exploratory drilling.

Skills

Good knowledge of English language

• 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry (or 5 years in service contracts as Contracts Manager/Lead).
• 3+ years of contracting experience, including development, maintenance, and negotiation.
• Strong knowledge of international oil and gas markets.
• Familiarity with Oracle Contracting Module (a plus).

Requirements:

BS in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering with five (5) years of experience in drilling engineering

Skill and expertise in deviated drilling including short radius horizontal wells.

Offshore jackup drilling experience with in depth knowledge of top drive units, Measurement While Drilling (MWD) technology and oil base muds.

Experience in drilling high pressure / high temperature wells as deep as 17,000 feet with heavy mud weights as high as 165 PCF in high H2S concentrations of 20%.

A valid certificate in Blowout Prevention (BOP) and well control

Intensive oil/gas upstream specialized training courses with diploma education will be considered.

Extensive Drilling & Workover experience internationally as Rig Supervisor with both offshore and onshore drilling operations.

Extensive experience in mentorship and ability to transfer knowledge and skills.

Must have excellent communications skills.

Must have completed the H2S, Offshore survival (HUET), Firefighting and First Aid courses.

Must have completed the IADC certification courses to required level

As a Solution Architect you work with delivery teams and data architects and help design the solutions based on the project’s requirements with a focus on designing REST Services for our Data Mesh but also specific services for applications as well as design system integration using Kafka, StreamSets and (Java) Services.

Skills

– Strong solution architecture experience

– Experienced in the Java, Spring Boot/Spring Cloud and Netflix stacks

– Experience with Kafka / event driven architectures

– Experience with building Data as a Service / Data Mesh and the implications outside of the traditional RBDMs / Warehouse space

As a Data Architect you work with the delivery teams and solution architects to help design any data specific details incl. database models (3NF, DV, Mutli Dimensional etc.) for our Data as Service / Data Mesh or even message standards (Kafka JSON messages, JSON Request/Response etc.)

Skills

– Strong data modelling experience (3NF, Data Vault, Multi Dimensional) and preferably including tooling experience with PowerDesigner

– Experience in Message / schema design for Kafka messages as well as API JSON Request / Response, preferably with tooling experience in Enterprise Architect
